Some members went to the court in May 2010 owing to the pending case concerning unity of this church, during the court proceedings the judge noticed that the parties in question were not in attendance but only their lawyers, for that reason the lawyer of the 2 parties wanted to adjourned the case, but Sup Evang Banjo-Trustee raised his hands up to speak on behalf of the church being the only known living Trustee and the judge gave him the permission to speak and he said “ It is not necessary to postpone the case and the case should not have come to the court in first instance” therefore he gave the judge assurance that every matter will be resolved, and the judge gave them a mandate that everything should be settled before the end of July else the court will enforce is judgment as its pleases .

Afterwards, a circular was sent out to all the factions for impromptu meeting at CCC Ikorodu Road Parish in which Sup Evang Banjo made it clear to them that it is high time we all come together, as for him, he is ready for the unity of this Church come what may even to the point of death.

At that meeting they scheduled another meeting for June 17^th 2010 in which took place yesterday with a lot of crowd and representative from all over Nigeria eager for a way forward of the Church at the National Headquarter CCC Makoko and some dignitaries like Sup Evang Banjo Trustee, Pastor P Maforikan, Pastor Orovboni, Sup Evang T Coker, Evang Olu Oshodi, Sup/Evang Opaleye, M/Sup/Evang Oshin, and so many elders that we can think of were present at this laudable meeting for way forward of this great church. At a point in time when Sup Evang Banjo was addressing the seating, he got carried away by addressing Emmanuel Oschoffa as Rev Pastor and addressed the other two seated Pastors that is Pastor P Maforikan and Pastor Orovboni as Baba instead of Pastor, He said that repeatedly and noticing that Evangelist Olu Oshodi stood up and addressed the issue by quoting a passage in the word of God 1^st Corinthians 14:33 “For God is not the author of confusion but of peace as in all the churches of the saint” to them that we are serving the God of orderliness and not of confusion, if we claim to seek for unity of this church then we should do it in truth and of a sincere cause, then he reflect back on the address given by Sup Evang Banjo and he said he noticed that in his addressed he called Pastor Emmanuel Oschoffa with the rank of Rev Pastor Emmanue Oschoffa and anytime he wants to mention Pastor P S Maforikan and Pastor Orovboni , he addressed them as Baba Maforikan and Baba Orovboni then he said if we really want the way forward of this church then we should not relegate one faction and uplift another faction, on hearing that all the attendees began to give a resounding applaud to Evangelist Olu Oshodi for addressing that issue because of that they unanimously agreed that nobody should be address as Pastor but these 4 should be address as Reverend : Rev Maforikan, Rev Emmanuel Oshoffa, Rev Orovboni and Rev Owodunni They should disregard anybody that call himself a Pastor.

Afterwards a committee was chosen to see to the yearly bible lesson booklet and 33 Elders committee were chosen for the way forward of the Church.
